"Who Do You Think You Are?" - NBC Show On Discovering Your Ancestry

This is one of the most amazing shows on television right now, its called: "Who Do You Think You Are?" It features today's famous celebrities and takes them on a historical journey back to their ancestral roots. In partnership with Ancestory.com the show has proven to be one of the most riveting and interesting on TV today.

As a first generation Italian American, I find the connection to discovering more about your background totally fascinating and to add there is such historical significance which makes this show all the more compelling. It airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Watch this episode with Susan Sarandon as her journey takes her back to Italy. Amazing.

Thank you for sharing this video, Margaret! What a great idea for a show. I think it would be awesome if they also did it for regular, non-famous people. I would love to find out more about my ancestors. However, you need some money to complete these kinds of searches. It would be great if NBC opened these searches up. This is intelligent television!

I saw this episode and thought it was great. The whole show is and hopefully it will be back next year. I just wish the regular people had as much to work with as they do in this show to look for lost ancestors. I agree with ciaodownnow, open it for some regular people...would be really great!!

Hi Everyone,

Yes, I totally agree. This show is pretty amazing and it would be even more amazing to dig deeper into some peoples personal stories.
