Over the years on my site I’ve always talked about my father because he’s a huge influence in my life and sharing all the beautiful, amazing and loving stories about my father was always a great way to share what makes me an ‘Italian American Girl.’. I haven’t shared this here yet because I haven’t had the strength to talk about it more other than my personal profiles. My father passed away this October ironically on Columbus Day, the same day he arrived in America over 50 years ago. I’m heart broken and I miss him deeply, there is nothing more amazing than a father who loves you, supports you and makes you laugh. A true man always took care of everything, worked three to four jobs, always provided and still had time for his family and always made you feel special no matter what. Although I miss him terribly he somehow continues to inspire and motivate me.
There is only one Papa. ❤️Tweet
So sorry to hear about your Papa. I lost mine in June of 2020 during the pandemic. Yours sounds like such an amazing man. My sympathies go out to you. Not a day goes by when I don't think about and remember mine. Many days, I can feel him around me. I am sure he is still near to you and watching over you. My heart goes out to you.
