It's been a family affair here lately at Italian American Girl. Last week my mother made Italian Stuffoli, this week I took the opportunity to film my sister, Maria and niece making Italian knot cookies. We only do these projects once a year and I wanted to share the process with you.

Margaret, what a wonderful video on sharing your traditions with your family. My mom's family is from Calabria, (Catanzaro) and we make these cookies every year. My mother and grandmother used to twist them around their pinkie and then bake them. The Italian icing is delicious drizzled on top of them. You really can't just eat one! (Your niece is cute.)
