Why I Dislike Forward Emails That Say, "You Know You're Italian When...."

Just a small rant tonight on the ever so popular "You know you're Italian when..." email. I would like to say if ever there was an email that was completely annoying, it would be this one. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't accept forwards emails. I just don't. I find forwards to be a waste of time. Sorry, unless its important..of which 9X's out of 10 it isn't. So, this 'Italian' email, I really think is offensive and kind of stupid. I really try and keep an open mind when it comes to differences in Italian American culture, because everyone has their own take and experiences on it, so I thought maybe some of these things could apply to the vast majority. I don't know, I find a lot of the list hard to digest, not really my bag. So, sorry to the people who forward the "You know you're Italian When..." emails. I just don't think they're realistic or even true and what a bad way to distribute negative stereotypes about Italians in such masses. Oh, and what I love the most is when this forwarded email comes from someone not Italian, even better. (sarcastic of course.)

From one Italian American to another, I couldn't agree more! They are super annoying.
