<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">Another year its now 15 years from when I started the Italian American Girl web site. Facebook was just starting, Twitter just launched and no Instagram then, my site took off so quickly just because of our tight knit Italian American community. The support I received from my fellow Italian American friends from all over the country and in different parts of the world was amazing. Till this day, we still have the same connections, its pretty amazing. Being Italian American is definitely a very unique experience, I had the best of both worlds, growing up Italian American in the USA. I think in today's climate of heavy immigration discussions, we are experiencing a new wave of immigrants who may or may not come into the country through the proper channels, but its also a severe economic and dangerous climate in the world. When my father came over from Italy he was the oldest of his family expected to support the family after his father died in World War II, my father's uncle worked to get him to the USA to help him, everyone in Italy was poor, he knew if my father stayed there he would not make it to support an entire family. My father is in the USA now close to 60 years, came over on a ship the whole nine... true immigrant experience, yes my father is now almost 90 years old. </span><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">Living in the USA and living the American dream is a challenge, the economic climate for most people is difficult, and if you don't speak the language even harder and you are treated badly, in my opinion. America is about a dream, its about working hard. If my father didn't come here and work as hard as he did, I would not have or do any of the things I've experienced or are able to have and enjoy. I thank my father for everything he's done for me and my entire family. Thank you for continuing to support my blog, my brand, my experiences; without you and our community we can't thrive. Grazie a tutti. xoxo </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Italian Meatball Recipe:</b></span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">1 1/2 cup of bread crumbs ( this can be home made from toasted Italian bread or store bought) </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">1 pound of ground meat, (you can substitute any meat, we prefer Turkey 100% lean.)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">4 oz. grated cheese Pecorino and Parmigiana</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">2 Tsp of salt</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">1 Tsp of pepper</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">2 Eggs </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">10 stalk or pieces chopped parsley </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">2 cloves of garlic </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial;">1 or 1/2 cup of water - depending on the quality of your bread crumbs. </span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoobliJtxzH3vRZjNK79cCCDj4k2rkuzmFM8GhbISE-yvGpHG1icDnzak86APPnG9c2lgeifiW8ZMA7hdzXNIV41W14IbrDtXvzX3sNarKoVNLzrLX46agkgWoJv4kAfllItYG6b5xnbQ/s1600/IMG_3975.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoobliJtxzH3vRZjNK79cCCDj4k2rkuzmFM8GhbISE-yvGpHG1icDnzak86APPnG9c2lgeifiW8ZMA7hdzXNIV41W14IbrDtXvzX3sNarKoVNLzrLX46agkgWoJv4kAfllItYG6b5xnbQ/s1600/IMG_3975.jpg" /></span></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: arial;">Mix all together, form balls (secret to keeping them nice and together, drip some warm water onto your palm of your hands as your rolling the balls.) Then once you have your balls ready, fry them in a pan of very hot vegetable oil or canola oil. (some people like to substitute oils, we find this works best for us.) Flip them till they are golden brown as you can see from today's meatball making. </span></div>

I believe many Italians make this in many variations as we like to experiment and also be simple with our staple dinner element. </span></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">My brother has since baked a few loaves since this original loaf pictured here, I believe he wanted to perfect it and it almost seemed to get better each time he baked it. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLXk0FM18ctfxjeGLUSd6HMJDAhrg9B6JHDm9c_w747wgP-8iXvK1hR6tedoOYcrLNjBK7_Vk-I7Kt5qUO_bxXujS3jXovPBCh0l4ka7_kzLkvPHCE4BYF5wZUwZSAHtzEyx1y0iJe35M/s640/IMG_7656.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLXk0FM18ctfxjeGLUSd6HMJDAhrg9B6JHDm9c_w747wgP-8iXvK1hR6tedoOYcrLNjBK7_Vk-I7Kt5qUO_bxXujS3jXovPBCh0l4ka7_kzLkvPHCE4BYF5wZUwZSAHtzEyx1y0iJe35M/w300-h400/IMG_7656.jpg" width="300" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: arial;">Now, once he made it, we had a chance to warm up the bread and enjoy with it with extra virgin olive oil and red pepper flakes. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><span>The next day I cut a slice and made a very glamorous avocado toast, which was amazing. I started the Italian American Girl blog back in 2008 when social media just came out and blogging was the trend then along with the new sites Twitter and Youtube.
I was searching for a way to stay connected to my <b>first generation </b>Italian American friends and acquaintances so we could share stories of upbringing, family and culture. </span><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">Here we are over 14 years later and now the Italian American community has grown online so much due to platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Also, no one was calling us influencers, myself and few others on here who I am still very close with know who we are and were just being authentic and enjoying the connections. The moral of the story is: it wasn’t about numbers, or influence but about connecting and bringing awareness to our culture, upbringing and values. Leave a ♥️ if you agree. What's your Italian American story? </span><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">Ciao. Just this week alone my blogs have been about politics and serious topics...well today I want to talk about curly hair. I get tons of emails all the time about yes, my hair.</span></p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;">I have to say, I am very lucky to have super curly hair that's somewhat manageable. There was a time when I didn't know how to style it and always felt like odd girl out..while all my friends had their gorgeous straight hair.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;">Growing up with curly, frizzy hair always made me feel like a bit of an outcast. During middle school, teasing and spraying hair was pretty big. I could never do that, because if I teased I ended up looking like a poodle who got electrocuted. It was hard.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;">Then, in my later years in high school, I started to get the hang of it. It isn't till now, that I really love my hair and can style it with super products available for curly, ethnic hair. Yes, whether we like it or not, its "ethnic." If you research the curly hair characteristics and cultures of where people have curly hair, well..you guessed it..I'm in that percentile.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #666666;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;">I guess I am the owner of the fitting characteristics of a Southern Italian woman. To add to the curly hair, not only is it hard just to figure out what to do with it, but in a business world such I am in daily..its another job trying to figure out how to fit in with the business types without my hair going wild.</span></span><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span style="color: #666666; font-family: arial;"><span style="background-color: white;">Let me know below if you have a favorite product to use to manage our hair. </span></span></div>Italian American Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14484188728423815565noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6680355927811732283.post-33865282404021049002023-08-09T06:00:00.002-04:002024-01-14T11:09:10.734-05:00Italian American Authors and Italian Themed Books 2023 List <p><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;"></span></p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxdQiKnX91GtKqMD-1yJGn3UwBCJOFp7f6rxRW6yOkbj5vE-gvsjfDgBmO1RFHJ3IFUq6XRT1MtBMV2vmQvODUjDyfL55tKoG_uwOA21yK8bY9i8fon3Yi-9mg9T3TfYYoJDMeioUxf6E/s640/IMG_4085.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Italian American Themed Books and Authors" border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxdQiKnX91GtKqMD-1yJGn3UwBCJOFp7f6rxRW6yOkbj5vE-gvsjfDgBmO1RFHJ3IFUq6XRT1MtBMV2vmQvODUjDyfL55tKoG_uwOA21yK8bY9i8fon3Yi-9mg9T3TfYYoJDMeioUxf6E/w400-h300/IMG_4085.jpg" title="Italian American Girl Post" width="400" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Add caption<br /></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhK0lGRDiZowlXQmNJVcpKq1v35WCJ89hEQmsWB_mSTN9CNER-4ys0Y_4QhO3VdAVjN0OQboXnZbte1sT1QKOCzXmGWxHzBjPMaxP28WA983LXMbxa7wFtzel2ULQ9QAnejdXRfgMWcNw/s640/IMG_4086.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhK0lGRDiZowlXQmNJVcpKq1v35WCJ89hEQmsWB_mSTN9CNER-4ys0Y_4QhO3VdAVjN0OQboXnZbte1sT1QKOCzXmGWxHzBjPMaxP28WA983LXMbxa7wFtzel2ULQ9QAnejdXRfgMWcNw/s320/IMG_4086.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Back in 2009 I started this post with the latest Italian American authors and Italian themed books due to the large amount of inquiries I was receiving to either review or give recommendations. This starchy water will help bind the pesto to the pasta.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /><br /></span><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space-collapse: preserve;"><b><span style="font-family: arial;">4. This delightful Italian dish holds a special place in my heart as one of my all-time favorite recipes to prepare. I fondly recall my father tending to the zucchini plants, teaching me from a young age the art of harvesting the flowers in the early morning, giving them a gentle rinse, and allowing them to dry before frying.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGpbdQymQeMyRNbvHgC8XGRjliBwUDOBzgq1u0D_jx9lpDfSsBxRwB9OjtKR2gA0zLePY4Kn1MUI5GsEDWWceU6BDCpL-zHe9aO7DIUpPK8RRAVOLKMazvHFpQA2cUd8zIvGimpehX0vc5puesAxhhEVzCw0LxxD5beoP5i3-kNQpxWVo_iVkK2lbnw-M/s640/IMG_0422.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGpbdQymQeMyRNbvHgC8XGRjliBwUDOBzgq1u0D_jx9lpDfSsBxRwB9OjtKR2gA0zLePY4Kn1MUI5GsEDWWceU6BDCpL-zHe9aO7DIUpPK8RRAVOLKMazvHFpQA2cUd8zIvGimpehX0vc5puesAxhhEVzCw0LxxD5beoP5i3-kNQpxWVo_iVkK2lbnw-M/w300-h400/IMG_0422.jpg" width="300" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 12pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">The beauty of this dish lies in its simplicity, as it requires only a handful of basic ingredients. However, feel free to experiment and add your own twist by stuffing the flowers with ricotta cheese and sautéing them. There are countless ways to prepare this delicacy.</span></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 12pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">If you happen to have zucchini flowers growing in your garden, here's a basic recipe to try. Please note that I won't be providing precise measurements, as they depend on the number of flowers you have for the batter. Consider this a guideline to gather the necessary ingredients:</span></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 12pt; margin-top: 0pt;"></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Flour</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Salt</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Water</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Optional: Egg</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Finely diced garlic</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Salt and pepper</span></span></li><li><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Optional: Romano or Pecorino cheese</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 12pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="white-space-collapse: preserve;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Mix all these ingredients together until the mixture resembles a pancake batter consistency. Begin by heating your pan with oil on high heat. Traditionally, my mother used Canola oil for frying, but you can also use olive oil. I make gluten free usually and it tastes just as amazing as regular.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">I cook everything for about 30 minutes or till I feel all vegetables are soft, don't overcook if you've added pasta because then it can break apart. Just my suggestion. Also I find with minestrone soup, I make it slightly different each time, because you can be creative with vegetables. Happy soup season! </span></li></ul><p></p>Italian American Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14484188728423815565noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6680355927811732283.post-70406154097504856902022-05-07T15:19:00.001-04:002022-05-07T15:19:19.725-04:00Italian Style: Vegan Gluten Free Dishes - Grilled Vegetables & Air Fried Sweet Potatoes <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">Here's another great couple of dishes I've perfected over the last year while we hunkered down during the pandemic. I discovered that using an air fryer is actually very convenient and cooks so many meals in no time and in a healthier way. Here's a great post about the benefits of using an air fryer:<a href="https://airfryanytime.com/benefits-of-an-air-fryer/"> (Read here) </a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JBLY2D2/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&aaxitk=c37c96948220f6e8d9a424ed603b335e&hsa_cr_id=4087374570201&pd_rd_plhdr=t&pd_rd_r=37688556-97bf-4457-9fa3-88ee0002bc51&pd_rd_w=BRE1a&pd_rd_wg=kVN0Z&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_lsi4d_asin_0_img" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="677" data-original-width="679" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPsTOl-Al0YvZNxavrMapbF-jqclpuacxAruScGiEQ9SFAt9xD_oY5WLy0TZcF7tl--qEPOfHyZ-6dp62igUF2cpyN4mrhDJhp1Lopb0RkO_Or3dWTfYqzyh-oioWBDM7fUfisvd_Ku_WMIz9W6nQam-TrXMeLXiLYmBCg6UStGrfdXqhsxM51Iz0q/w400-h398/Airfryer.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #424242; font-family: arial; font-size: large;">This week I made a grilled vegetable (zucchini and eggplant) for this I used my trusty old George Foreman grill, which I love. I slice the vegetables on my cutting board usually in circle shape of the vegetable not long ways to get more onto the grill. I lay them onto the grill and drizzle a tad of olive oil, I only use extra virgin oil btw. I also lay a few garlic slices across the layer of vegetables to give it an extra great taste, I love garlic. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjufgwICpVmxDh2EQdTaiBPYYVyvh8pkSa4JHpa4UYc7yGZj3nxwcyVZjsbrZedDoPhTRfsQ5DwIPIe4Ytb8kKjIdt1ptWyGqpVvu1QwHqPT5yT1qmX19siKPmA9EDydp1YvWywisMpIFoLG2nXT7kUXHLFjEDnU9HvEOsGA-w3r8Ly5ryqDbEXz66G/s1351/Italian%20Food.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1351" data-original-width="1151" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjufgwICpVmxDh2EQdTaiBPYYVyvh8pkSa4JHpa4UYc7yGZj3nxwcyVZjsbrZedDoPhTRfsQ5DwIPIe4Ytb8kKjIdt1ptWyGqpVvu1QwHqPT5yT1qmX19siKPmA9EDydp1YvWywisMpIFoLG2nXT7kUXHLFjEDnU9HvEOsGA-w3r8Ly5ryqDbEXz66G/w341-h400/Italian%20Food.JPG" width="341" /></a></div><br /><span style="color: #424242; font-family: arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #424242; font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">For the stuffed mushrooms, I combined my </span><a href="https://www.4c.com/4c-product/gluten-free-crumbs/" style="color: #424242; font-family: arial; font-size: large;">4C Gluten Free bread crumbs </a><span style="color: #424242; font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">with Kosher salt, garlic salt, dried basil, dried oregano, some slices of fresh garlic. Part 3! <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBxyUWliCoE5Xx_L8zAxzKRnlM2LcpPDBrddKUKBu5Lcz4MM2jXkHL0yvJV6LOS1ZWQDJObwOavf8FOizKTDxoM_VRU0nGaZ6jnss_UXOkIrWflNhfQqsdplUjFUrSOv_7Ow3crC2tmDsxsAYuhCP-i_rl0h12qb6LlaX3yMoARbUwOQFL2fzGcHiF/s1800/IAG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1440" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBxyUWliCoE5Xx_L8zAxzKRnlM2LcpPDBrddKUKBu5Lcz4MM2jXkHL0yvJV6LOS1ZWQDJObwOavf8FOizKTDxoM_VRU0nGaZ6jnss_UXOkIrWflNhfQqsdplUjFUrSOv_7Ow3crC2tmDsxsAYuhCP-i_rl0h12qb6LlaX3yMoARbUwOQFL2fzGcHiF/w320-h400/IAG.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">This topic is my most searched topic on my site, I believe our curly hair mystifies our cultural foundations. Here's my story continued: my father had very tight curly hair and even as a man his hair even at 91 maintained its curly texture. I definitely took after my father, and interestingly enough both my parents are direct from Reggio Calabria, Italy. In my family, there a few of us with my type of hair and now with the newer generation, my niece has my hair, so its fascinating to understanding DNA and how it evolves over generations and lineage. </span></div><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Here's a link to the hair products I use and for me personally, its a full on task to take care of curly hair. Most days, I actually wear my hair up in a bun or braid. I do get away with not washing hair for a few days because curly hair allows for it, just my preference. You do have to comb out your hair though on wash days because any type of bun or braid seriously knots my hair. The other element that I believe is the secret sauce for maintaining and getting my hair to look good is actually coloring my hair. I get my hair highlighted and honestly when I do, it controls my hair even more. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Let me know if you have more questions. </span></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p> </p> <script async="" src="//www.instagram.com/embed.js"></script>Italian American Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14484188728423815565noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6680355927811732283.post-6288399794586386212022-05-03T21:26:00.003-04:002022-05-03T21:26:39.654-04:00New Recipe! Vegan and Gluten Free Pasta with Cannelli Beans!<p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">It's Spring time, so many amazing new and clean dishes are on the horizon. I love cooking clean, so anytime I can put together something easy and super healthy is a huge win for me! What I ended up making recently was a very easy gluten free pasta dish with cannelli beans.

I haven’t shared this here yet because I haven’t had the strength to talk about it more other than my personal profiles. My father passed away this October ironically on Columbus Day, the same day he arrived in America over 50 years ago. I’m heart broken and I miss him deeply, there is nothing more amazing than a father who loves you, supports you and makes you laugh. A true man always took care of everything, worked three to four jobs, always provided and still had time for his family and always made you feel special no matter what. Although I miss him terribly he somehow continues to inspire and motivate me. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #262626; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">There is only one Papa. ❤️</span></span></p>Italian American Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14484188728423815565noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6680355927811732283.post-7439328881343096752021-05-08T16:14:00.008-04:002021-05-08T16:17:28.245-04:00Favorite Hair Products for Naturally Curly Hair - Italian American Girl Edition <p> </p><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; padding: 0px;"><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfjaEZF52cd9R1RGgzMNxqee-wFkxepOFmYsjD41HbIKDs_5bWLioVa2fCP_4Zlax00USFVVc5jgffU6A7zNK3ifYe-NlJMwP20Qch_tcQ1KPLKDLOZ9PDc5Ssq3HfWG55AdD6hSIQKN8/s640/IMG_8052.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="434" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfjaEZF52cd9R1RGgzMNxqee-wFkxepOFmYsjD41HbIKDs_5bWLioVa2fCP_4Zlax00USFVVc5jgffU6A7zNK3ifYe-NlJMwP20Qch_tcQ1KPLKDLOZ9PDc5Ssq3HfWG55AdD6hSIQKN8/w434-h640/IMG_8052.jpg" width="434" /></span></a></div><p></p></blockquote><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Its' May! Time is flying and I feel like we've been locked up in the house forever, oh wait... we actually have.. how did all of this happen? ..So crazy. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Well with the newer positive changes happening, we're starting to get out and back to some sort of normalcy. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"> For me, this means going back to the salon and taking care of my hair and actually doing my hair to go somewhere. Who else has gotten to used to buns and scrunchy looks just because you weren't or had to do or go anywhere? ugh.. Well enough with that. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Today I'm going to share with you my top three styling products for naturally curly hair. I started using an organic hair care line, which I absolutely love. If you have naturally curly hair you know that it can be coarse, unruly and sometimes can dry out faster due to 'cheaper' products. I always get asked what I use on my hair because I manage to make my curls very separated, and not dry looking. So, I'll tell you though one of the major secrets is actually having great hair color on your hair, that is ..if you color your hair.
